JIM JONES CONTINUES TO INSULT PUSHA-T'S STATUS IN HIP HOP

The perplexing high drama continues Jim Jones previously suggested that Pusha-T shouldn’t be considered one of the greatest rappers of all time, and now he’s doubled down on that opinion.

In an interview on The Breakfast Club, Jones was asked about his comments regarding the It’s Almost Dry rapper and decided to dig in his heels. “I don’t think Pusha-T will reach out to me, I’m not the type of person you’re gonna reach out to about my opinion,” he said when asked by Charlamagne at the 27:40 point if Push has reached out. “I ain’t cool with him like that. I know him to say, ‘What’s up?’ Give him a pound, you dig? I wasn’t trying to diss him. They asked me a question… My phone ain’t the line to be calling.”

Charlamagne was referring to comments Jones made on the RapCaviar podcast earlier this month, in which he questioned why Push was placed at No. 29 on Billboard’s Greatest Rappers of All Time list and reiterated his belief that Drake could be No. 1. “Can you sing along to five Pusha-T records right now?” Jones asked Charlamagne, who said he could. “Could you name five Pusha T records?" pointed to Charlamagne's co-host DJ Envy. "No. Could you rap to five Pusha-T records?”
