FUTURE STARS: MEET CIPH BOOGIE

Brooklyn-born artist Ciph Boogie has demonstrated a prodigious talent for songwriting and hip-hop performance over the better part of a decade. As an independent artist with a strong presence on the Big Apple's music scene, he has honed his craft with a diversified skill set. Raised in a close-knit family, guided primarily by his mother & grandmother, Ciph spent his early years split between his grandmother’s home and his mother's place in Marcy projects and the gates avenue and Marcus Garvey section of Bedford-Stuyvesant, and bearing witness to the ascent of the Roc-A-Fella empire from his grandmother’s window.

Ciph Boogie shared a building with Jay-Z's best friend, Tyran “TY-Ty” Smith, in Bed-Stuy until he was 11, after which his family relocated to Canarsie, where he still resides. His grandmother and TY-Ty's family lived on the second and first floors, respectively.

Building upon the success of his EP 'Sometime in New York City Vol', Ciph Boogie is set to release its sequel. His repertoire includes noteworthy achievements, such as his track "Solemnly" being used by ESPN for their 'Friday Night Fights' program. Additionally, his track "Rush" was featured in Red Bull's "Red Bull Racing’s American Vacation" promotional video, accumulating over 1M views. His piece "Let’s Work" was aired on NBA TV in 2015 as part of the Boston Celtics' teamwork segment.

Beyond his music career, Ciph Boogie has made significant contributions in digital marketing for the late Reggie Osse's trailblazing podcast, 'The Combat Jack Show'. In 2018, he returned to recording, collaborating with international hip-hop artist Dark Dust on a track named "Party", featured on Dark Dust's 2018 album 'MK Ultra'. This ensemble track included performances from German artist Tarren Wait, Atlanta native Cyia Carter, and Mr. Frosti from Austin, Texas. That same summer, Ciph Boogie was selected to perform the spoken word intro for the entrepreneurial podcast 'Faith, Grind, Inspire', hosted by Dr. Jean Alerte.

Known to many as a "positive" rapper, Ciph Boogie's music explores a deeper narrative, reflecting the broad spectrum of human experiences and the nuances of life's highs and lows. His ambition is to secure a substantial role within the music industry and to leverage this into opportunities within TV, film, and technology sectors.

His creative journey began with writing short stories and poems during his childhood, which later evolved into songwriting as he mastered song structure. His talent, commitment to quality, relationship-building skills, and ability to stay informed have defined his music career. Ciph Boogie remains dedicated to producing timeless, quality music that resonates with his audience.
