Photorefractive Sniper Vision System Review keratectomy, or PRK, is the first laser procedure that used the Excimer Lasers to reshape the cornea. During PRK, some of the surface cells on the cornea, called corneal epithelium, are removed prior to the delivery of the treatment. Like LASIK surgery, PRK can correct farsightedness, nearsightedness, and astigmatism.
