Breakfast and snack on the touchstone age were the same for each intervention and cater 13–15% protein, 19–24% oily, and 60–63% carbohydrate. SWS reduced within the first sleep cycle after the HC meal compare to with the HF fragment. However, there was no difference in numb construction between interventions over the unqualified sleep age. The authors suggested that the reduction in SWS observed during the first sleep cycle was related to the grade of carbohydrate combustion.
