Confirmed by Special Prosecutor Angela Corey that George Zimmerman will be charged with murder in the second degree for the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
I spoke with Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, Trayvon’s parents, those sweet, sweet people, and we promised them justice. That is what has brought us here today.”
“Zimmerman turned himself in in response to a capias that was already issued. We began these proceedings last week.”
Special Prosecutor Corey also stated that it is clear that “Trayvon Martin is the constitutional victim.”
