UPDATE: New York Post Columnist Offers Lame Explanation For Racial Statement Agains Jay-Z's Brooklyn Nets

Ok the New York post which has record of being one on the most racial charged and direspectful tabloid towards black people  is at it again.

On Friday (May 4), longtime New York Post columnist Phil Mushnick blasted Hov with blatantly racist comments. “Why the Brooklyn Nets when they can be the New York N——s?” Mushnick wrote in his Friday’s column entitled, Nets on Jay-Z track. “The cheerleaders could be the Brooklyn B—-hes or Hoes. Team logo? A 9 mm with hollow-tip shell casings strewn beneath. Wanna be Jay-Z hip? Then go all the way!”

Mushnick also wrote

What a shock that he chose black and white as the new team colors to stress, as the Nets explained, their new “urban” home—why not have him apply the full Jay-Z treatment?”

According to Hip-Hop publication XXL Mushnick sent them over the following statement

“A good portion of my columns, the last 30 years, has been devoted to the identification and condemnation of increased incivility and social desensitization as marketing strategy within sports and all forms of entertainment,” Mushnik wrote in the statement. ”I see this as no different and I plan to continue to argue against the negative racial and ethnic stereotyping and the promotion of mindless violence, especially to the young and most vulnerable.”
