So it's a beautiful Monday morning and its bitter sweet indeed for today marks the one year anniversary of the untimely passing of one of Hip Hop's most beloved emcees Sean Price. Yes I used the word beloved because he was just that loved by his family, friends, peers and fans. What was so special about Sean Price those unfamiliar with him may ask. Was it his what you see is what you get persona in a Hip Hop world full of phonies. Sean did not have a phony bone in his body, and was extremely comfortable in his own skin; and if you had the pleasure of being in his company he made you feel the same. His sense of humor was legendary just like his wit and lyrical praxis.  

Sean was also a dedicated family man in a Hip Hop culture that praises the playa over the affirmed steed fast loyal family man. Sean was also a devout Muslim. His love for Hip Hop & his family was undeniable. He would bring his daughter Shaun Price on stage and trade bars with her on occasion. Yes it's been a year since Hip Hop has lost its, Mic Tyson, Kimbo Price, SeanDaBarbarian, Ruck, or as he was most affectionately known to his fans Sean P. They say the good die young and this is definitely the case when it came to Sean Price. On this one year anniversary  we are missing you and celebrating you at the same time King. You will never be forgotten my brother your wife, family, friends and fans will make sure of that. Rest In Paradise.
