Embattled Jamaican Dance Hall Artist Vybz Kartel May Get Bail On Murder Charge..

 Embattled Jamaican dancehall entertainer Vybz Kartel has been ordered to return to the Home Circuit Court on Friday at which time his lawyers are to make a bail application.

The murder case of businessman Barrington ‘Bossy’ Burton involving Kartel and two other men was transferred to the Home Circuit Court from the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court this morning.
Kartel was offered $3 million bail in relation to the case.
However, in the circuit court today the prosecution said since the matter has been transferred to a different court the defence attorneys would need to make a new bail application.

The matter is to be heard on Friday.
Meanwhile, Kartel’s co-accused Nigel Thompson and Lenburgh McDonald were today ordered to return to court on April 13.
At that time bail applications are expected to be made for them.
In the meantime, Kartel’s drug trial was today adjourned to April 13.
Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, is facing the charge of illegal possession of marijuana.
