Dennis Rodman Dead Broke Can't Afford to Pay $800K in Child Support

It seems that NBA legend Dennis Rodman has fallen on hard times in recent years, and is unable to cough up $800,000 in child support back payments, because new court documents show that he's flat broke.

Michelle Rodman, Dennis' ex-wife just filed papers claiming that he owes $808,935 in back taxes and an additional $51,441 in spousal support. Dennis' lawyers responded to the filing, by revealing that there was no way that Dennis could pay the amount, because "Respondent Dennis Rodman is broke and cannot afford any additional fees."

Dennis' lawyer also said that he was "extremely sick," but didn't elaborate, and said that Dennis isn't making the kind of money he did in his NBA heyday. The lawyer added that the amount that he owes was based on outrageous estimates made by Michelle's attorney.

Rodman is due in court today regarding the child support case, and could spend 20 days in jail for failure to make the payments.
