Bruse wane's hercules video debuts on the legendary Video Music Box.. for those of you who have never heard of video music box let us give you a brief history lesson on the show.  Video music box is the first music television program to feature hip hop videos primarily; and was created in 1983 by Ralph McDaniels and Lionel C. Martin, who also serve as the series' hosts.It aired on the New York City-owned public television station WNYC-TV (now WPXN-TV) in from 1984 to 1996. In 1996, the program moved to WNYE-TV after WNYC-TV was sold by the city to a private company.

Many artists from the Golden Age of Hip Hop made their debuts on Video Music Box. It's influence has been very widespread and has been considered a major factor in the growth of Hip hopmusic and culture. Some to the biggest names to grace hiphop has appeared on the show, from The Notorious B.I.G, Ice-T, Jay-Z, P. Diddy, NAS..and more the list is too long to compile in this article.
