The Chile Times The first thing we noticed were wild black berries all over the side of the road. This lasted all the way to Santiago and man did we eat berries. In our oats every morning and for lunch as well. We each filled up our nalgenes or water bottles with berries. Our stomachs took 2 days to get used to this and we had to make many stops along the road to get them all out of our systems.
