Has Jay-Z become bigger than hip-hop, and beyond approach. Recently former rocafella artist Beanie Sigel made some very strong accusations against Jay-Z in the diss record "What you talking bout .. I'm not your average Cat". This particular incident had all the blogs and major hip-hop websites buzzing, was Jay-Z's number final up..NO. It seemed instead to be a case of too little to late despite Beanie Sigel's stark and poignant allegations. Did Jay-Z respond to Sigel besides the interview where he stated Beanie Sigel had two Bentley's a record label and clothing line, No he did not instead he comes out not to long after at a U2 Concert. For those of you that don't know U2 is one of Rock's Mega Bands,it pretty much does not get bigger than them. What up Bono. This further Demonstrated the fact That Jay-Z has become a confirmed international icon.

Instead of applying pressure to Jay-Z to respond to Sigel, a blatant demonstration of either hypocrisy or prejudicious journalism was made on the part of AllHipHop.com which ran the Beanie story; and days later had a piece on Jay-Z entitled "He Came He Saw He Conquered". Thus Demonstrating main stream Hip-Hop media trying to aid Jay-Z brush the Beanie Sigel incident under the rug. Will Jay-Z respond to Beanie Sigel on Wax. That remains to be seen, but the sad truth is he does not have to. Here is the "reality check" people. Jay-Z has transcended the culture and people that consider themselves real heads and live by certain code of ethics no longer count in this ever growing montage of global Hip-Hop. If Sigel would have got at Jay-Z during the whole Dynasty era or during the first blue print. Jay would have some serious issues, and had to respond. Jay-z is fully aware of his larger than Hip-Hop status and the fact true hip-hop heads are actually not responsible for the majority or records sales. "More reality check"

Amid illuminati accusation ties and a whole host of accusations Jay-Z keeps rolling on by responding to all of these things with this method, ignore, ignore, ignore. Well hopefully 50 cent signs Sigel to G-unit he needs it, and Sigel is a nice emcee. It is a sad day when the grass roots tried and true hip-hop fans no longer count and the very basis and foundation the culture was founded on is tossed out the window. Does Jay-Z Still respect the culture,or just the almighty dollar. Stop ignoring us Jay.
